Dear Readers:

The August issue of Cape May Magazine is on the newsstands or on its way to your home, and we think you'll find this a great read. Our piece on Convention Hall, aptly titled Remembering Convention Hall, features recollections from two former mayors and a family whose business began on the beachfront in 1914, but ended with the devastating March Nor'easter of 1962. The story resonates even more today as City Council wrestles with building a third configuration of Cape May's Convention Hall.

And on the lighter side, never fear parents, there is more to do in Cape May than just go to the beach everyday - not that that's a bad thing - read Stefanie Godfrey's 10 Things Kids Can Do and your kids will be singing your praises or at least not chanting, "there's nothing to do" every 10 minutes.

Look for us in select Borders and Barnes & Noble bookstores, and in your favorite Cape May stores. Better yet, why not subscribe and we’ll come to you?
