Make a day ahead and pop in the oven on Christmas morning! This recipe is easy to customize. You can change the vegetables, meats, and cheeses to suit your own taste.

Grease a 9”x11” casserole dish.
In a sauté pan, cook the sausage, crumble, and dry. Reserve.
Melt the butter and sweat garlic, onions, and peppers. Add the spinach and cook until the spinach shrinks. Add the sausage and cook the mixture for 3 minutes. Cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and cream. Set them aside for the next step.
In the greased casserole dish, layer the bread, sausage mix, and cheese. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used. Pour the egg mixture over the top and refrigerate the dish overnight.
In the morning, bake at 350° for 70 minutes until set. Enjoy!
